Aloqa's platform does three things extremely well: track the position of multiple moving bodies in a highly power and bandwidth efficient way, observe strict privacy rules while matching people and services, and sending out proactive notifications as relevant to the user. This provides five key benefits:

  • "Need-based location updates" allow for more real-time position fixes and significantly higher accuracy than typical "poll-based" approaches. Users can be proactively notified "when a service is relevant and should be used".

  • Server only sees inter-zone movement, finer location only on client
  • Service is given exact user location only when users opt to interact with service opportunity
